Fine Art Prints

A fine art print is crafted to take a place of honor on a wall, signifying its cherished status. The images shown on this website are digital facsimiles of platinotype prints which do not convey the complete magnificence, range of tones, and artistic allure of the original, handmade prints. To see, is to believe...

PARALLELS

Patterns incorporating parallel features...

Parallel patterns are evident in both  natural and man-made structures, even being observed in the microscopic, molecular and atomic world. Parallel structures may be straight lines, concentric circles or geometric shapes.

This seasons exhibition in the gallery entitled "Patterns of Parallelism" explores these concepts.

Theme Two

DOORS

Entry to the past, present or future...

Doors represent an entry or exit to a space which may represent the past, present or future. Doors have appeared in photographs from the start of photography. The style of a door may be simple or ornate often representing a portal to another world or dimension. Open doors can evoke the emotion of freedom while closed doors often associated with restraint or the unknown.

PERSPECTIVES

We're all different...

A perspective represents a viewpoint, idea, or concept that is typically unique to each observer. An image may hold vastly different meanings for different people and can also change in significance over time. Photographs convey perspectives, meanings and concepts from the viewers point of view.
